The quest for Master!

So I posted a few weeks back about deciding whether or not to go for Master on Protus. I know you all have been holding your breath waiting to hear what I decided :P

So anyway, I finally decided to make an actual effort and work my way there. *applause* *cheers*

Your welcome, your welcome.

So with that in mind I will chronicle my progress. Ups and downs and sideways. So I decided to make a go at it 1 week ago today. My starting qp to next rank was 425. So 425 qps to master. Not too far considering I havent kept a scalp in group pk in a couple years nor have I pk'd north of FD on Protus since...um...2005 maybe.

So I started off Friday very rocky. Went North to pk and man it is totally different then what I have been getting used to. I mean on my alt ive been same siding which is constantly low number or at most 2-3 vs 1-3 so its fairly even usually. Or when I play ds its large numbers but you know everyone has your back and if in trouble people are there in an instant to help you.

This was not the case on ls up north. Its one minute your 2v2 and then bam a group of 5 walks in and eats your legs. Being in abs up north on ls is rough. I rip maybe 3 times the first day up there. it wasnt pretty. I got a reset and decided to go combo to try and last a little bit longer.

So I spent my weekend solo smobbing a few key smobs to get myself a few spare combo kits and weapons. Mission accomplished there so now to reeq and get at it. The change to combo helped quite a bit. I am now able to get sideways and still be decently ok. Ive had some close calls but for the most part have done ok. Its funny cause I feel more comfy in orch and blight then I do fblands and west dusty.

7 days down and XXXX to go. Who knows?? I am now down to 395 tnr. Not sure if thats a lot or a little for the time I put into it but I do know its a start.

Look for my tally for week 2!
